Morris Bin No. 158 Durif 2021 (12 Bottles) Rutherglen

$286.00

SHIPPING INCLUDED ONLY IN VICTORIA. WINE IS NOT AVAILABLE TO BE DELIVERED OUTSIDE VIC.

A Morris flagship wine, pioneered by Mick Morris in the 1950s, this Durif is a true icon of Australian wine and a speciality of the Rutherglen region. Typical of the Morris style, this Durif has rich and generous flavours, with a tannin structure and a long persistence of flavour – and has garnered a cult following.

Deep red in colour with purple overtones, there are lifted fresh aromas of blackberry and spice fruits, with subtle oak influence. The palate is rich yet supple, with concentrated berry flavours balanced by fruit and oak tannins. This combines to produce a full-bodied wine of layered fruit flavours and great persistence. This wine can be enjoyed now or can benefit from further cellaring until 2040.
