Piper-Heidsieck Prestige Cuvée Rare awarded top ranking in Wine Spectator December 2015, Rare 1998 magnum receiving 98 points, Rare 2002 receiving 97 points. Rare, as the name suggests, is produced in exceptional vintages and natural circumstances with only 8 vintages produced in Maison history; 1976, 1979, 1985, 1988, 1990, 1998, 1999 and 2002.
