This is classic southern French Chardonnay – fresh and exuberant, proudly displaying its Mediterranean heritage. The flavours are pure sunshine in a glass – ripe stone fruit, peaches, melon and plenty of zesty lemon, with a lick of oak to add interest and round off the palate.
The Cévennes encompasses the northern half of France’s Languedoc wine region and is named after the Cevennes mountain range that runs through the region. It is in essence the convergence point of the great southern wine regions of the Southern Rhône, Provence and Languedoc, with each having its own distinct influence on the wines.
Its mountainous location provides warm sunny days with much cooler nights than the floor of the southern Languedoc, adding elegance and finesse to the whites and rosés of the region, and balance and structure to the reds.

The name Point de Convergence symbolises the confluence of culture, philosophy, geography and wine-making skill that have brought these wines about.
Wines are made in the beautiful Cevennes region, itself a meeting point of the great southern wine regions of Rhone, Provence and Languedoc, with each having its own distinct impact on the style of the wines.

From small beginnings we now operate across NSW, QLD, VIC and WA as well as in our home state of South Australia. Our distribution company was founded on our absolute belief that there was nobody better to represent our McLaren Vale brand than our own team. From that point our mission was clear - to bring together a collection of wine that would complement and match the quality of our own, and to present these to premium retail and hospitality trade across Australia.
