Provenance Wines 2018 Golden Plains Chardonnay (12 Bottles)

Brilliant, pale straw with a green hue. Fruit aromas reminiscent of white flowers and stone-fruit are enhanced by a cashew-like barrel ferment character. The opulent palate is testament to the low yielding season, showing layers of intense fruit kept in check by pitch-perfect natural acid. Long and persistent in finishing flavour; chalky texture plays a part in bringing this fine, balanced Chardonnay to conclusion.

Owners and winemakers Scott Ireland and Sam Vogel are obsessed with making wines that showcase their origin.

Provenance Wines was established in 1996 with one simple aim: make great local wine from great local vineyards. Balance, purity and place form the overarching philosophy that drives their winemaking decisions.

In March 2018, after an extensive renovation we opened our winery and cellar door in a re-purposed bluestone building at the Fyansford Paper Mill.

We are a proud distributor of premium wines from Australia and overseas.

At Winestock, we respect and treasure wine. That's why we represent only the best from the right regions to our highly valued restaurant, hotel and retail partners across NSW and the ACT.

In 1998 Paul Stenmark saw an opportunity to present family and independently owned wineries to the trade and consumer. Since launching Winestock, we have grown with our wineries from youngsters to become well-established and recognisable names in our industry. Today, Winestock carries an exciting, high-quality portfolio of Australian and international wines.

We celebrate our brands and the stories behind them and emphasise provenance and individuality.
