This Blanc de Blanc was crafted through the traditional Charmat method, with special attention paid to its origin, a single vineyard situated at high altitude in the King Valley.

Élevage is a French wine making term, it is the process of nurturing the wine from fermentation to the perfect finished product. For Redbank, Elevage (el-e-vazh) is representative of the elevation of our vineyards and styles.

The bouquet is led by vibrant notes of lychee, complemented by lime aromas. In the background, a subtle hint of cremont adds depth. The palate opens with lychee, golden kiwi and pear. A lime citrus acid line gracefully traverses the mid-palate. Towards the back of the palate, a subtle creaminess adds a touch of luxury, balancing the bright acidity.

Winemaking: A neutral yeast was used to allow for pure fruit expression which shines through in this wine. To aid in mousse formation, the wine was left slightly heat unstable, adding to the overall texture and effervescence.

Redbank Wines: from the heart of Australia’s Victorian alps. Grown in the clouds.

Redbank Wines is based in the beautiful King Valley, a cool climate wine region located in North East Victoria. The generosity of fertile soils and the versatile environment results in contemporary wines of regional distinction, freshness and minerality.

Led by a highly dedicated team of passionate growers and winemakers, Redbank Wines aspire to embody the true spirit of the Italian way of life in the King Valley region. Some of our growers are descendants of Italian families who came from Europe in the 1950’s to farm this beautiful yet rugged land.

Today, the spirit of the Italian heritage lives on with family and friends sharing delicious food and our lovely wines as a daily celebration of life. Our winemakers and viticulturists work closely with a carefully selected team of independent growers. These small, family-run vineyards offer unique and subtle soil and altitude differences that provide our winemakers with the raw ingredients to create distinctive wines reflecting the finest attributes of the region.
