The 2021 vintage was almost perfect, with a long, cool growing season, plenty of rain falling at the right time and slow ripening conditions resulting in flavoursome berry development.

This single vineyard Pinot Noir was harvested in the cool of the morning, crushed and cold soaked for 12 hours. After warming the wine, yeast was added, with the ferment pumped over as required for 7 days. Following fermentation, the wine was pressed to tank with half going into French oak barriques and the balance kept in tank.

Appearance
Bright, ruby red.

Bouquet
Aromas of sweet cherries and strawberries.

Palate
Lively cherry, strawberry and red berry fruit, fill the palate, finishing with silky tannins and a little hint of sweet spice.

Pair with Duck, game and mushroom dishes.
