Deep red with a crimson edge.

Bright and fresh, with dark cherry, blackurrant and raspberry fruits lifting from the glass combining with black pepper, fragrant spice and perfumed floral notes of lavendar and rose.

An elegant yet rippling core of red, black and blue fruits lead the palate, dusted with hints of lavender and complex spice – all underpinned by subtle toasty oak. This wine presents with great fineness and length; the intense flavours carried by a graphite edge and mouth-watering minerality reflective of its granitic origins. A soft, savoury and delicate wine with youthful tension that is sure to reward with some further time in the bottle.

The grapes were hand-picked, 80% whole bunch fermentation, 20% whole berry fermentation, natural ferments, 12 months in barrel on gross lees prior to blending and bottling.

About Terra Felix Wines

Established in 2001, Terra Felix is Latin for ‘lucky earth’ or ‘lucky country’, which is how owner Peter Simon’s father described Australia when he migrated from Austria.

Terra Felix aims to create exceptional, affordable wines from Australia’s premium existing and emerging wine regions.

My father, who came from Austria, believed food and wine were the backbone of a strong family life and through his encouragement I decided to make a career of our shared love of wine.

Working with some of Australia’s biggest and most respected companies I applied all that I knew about producing and marketing wine – eventually realising I needed to do things my way.

So in 2001 Terra Felix was born.

Passion for Wine

In 2010 David Sayce established Passion for Wine, a dynamic Sydney-based management and consulting service for Australian boutique wineries. David’s vision was to bring together premium Australian wine producers and a focussed client base to develop strong brands that offer quality and excellent value to the consumer.

With 25 year’s knowledge and industry experience and an extensive network of trade customers, David provides excellent sales opportunities through various channels in the domestic market.
