Valdespino Inocente Fino Dry Sherry 375ml, Spain – With over 600 years of sherry-making expertise, Valdespino stands as one of the oldest and most prestigious sherry bodegas in the region. Renowned for their exceptional quality, they continue to ferment a portion of their wines in wooden casks, enhancing the complexity of the final product. Valdespino is also one of the few estates to age all their sherries in solera well beyond the DO regulations.

This classic Fino Sherry is crafted using the traditional ‘Solera’ and ‘Criadera’ systems. What sets Inocente Fino apart is that it’s made from grapes sourced from a single vineyard in the esteemed Machamudo region of Jerez. Uniquely, it is the only Fino Sherry fermented in American oak casks. It is then aged under a layer of ‘flor’ for over eight years, resulting in a wonderfully dry, fresh sherry with a delicate, golden hue and an enticing, pungent aroma.

Rich yet dry, this sherry boasts a remarkable complexity of fruit, impeccable balance, and a long, multi-layered finish. Best served chilled between 8-10°C for the ultimate experience.

With over six centuries of sherry production, Valdespino stands as one of the oldest and most respected sherry bodegas in the region. At the core of their excellence are their vineyards. As one of the few bodegas producing single-vineyard wines, their Macharnudo vineyard is considered one of the ‘grand crus’ of Jerez.

Positioned at the highest altitude, this vineyard thrives on the renowned, bright white Albariza chalk soils. From the crisp and savory Manzanilla Deliciosa and Fino Inocente to the rich and intense Solera 1842 and Pedro Ximénez, Valdespino’s wines consistently deliver world-class quality.

The bodega maintains tradition by fermenting a portion of their wines in wooden barrels, adding layers of complexity. Notably, they age their wines in solera far beyond the DO regulations, ensuring exceptional depth across all sherry styles.
