About Vincent Girardin Wines
Vincent Girardin was only 19 years old when he established Maison Vincent Girardin in 1980. He came from a family of winegrowers, from as far back as the 17th century, so it came as no surprise that this was a passion of his. He began by making wine using two hectares of vines, inherited from his parents, and was quickly recognized for his talent and his wines’ quality.
He experimented on all sorts of techniques, and in the early 2000s, he brought in Eric Germain. The latter is a winemaker, and together, they were able to create new styles of wine, ones that are now acknowledged by winemakers everywhere.
Girardin sold the Maison in 2012 to a long-standing partner of the business. Eric Germain remains part of the group, and Maison Vincent Girardin, although it had changed hands, still continues to make wines of utmost quality, with principles that made it so popular in the first place.
