“This conceptual label is a photography project that I started during lockdown in 2020. Each year, post harvest, I’ll take a self portrait to represent that respective vintage which will then be utilized as the label – it aims to offer an insight into what I was thinking that year. In 20 years’ time you’ll be able to line up all of the bottles and see how I mature as both a winemaker and a man.” – Angus Vinden.

This years’ Pokolbin Blanc is a blend of multiple varieties, with some fermented on skins, some in stainless steel, some in clay amphora and some in neutral French oak, to build complexity, weight and texture. I wonder if you can guess what all of these varieties are?! This funky little number is light, fun and delicious.
