About Yume Wines
Since the first vintage in 2016, yume has attempted to not only nurture and care for the land on which the grapes are produced, but also to create wines that tell a compelling and honest story.
yume works with like-minded grape producers, who understand their vineyard as a complex system of interactions and manage it accordingly.
Each of the wines is made with respect and care for the grapes under the mantra of “nothing added, nothing taken away”. The only additions are small amounts of sulphur at bottling if needed.
Many years ago, we came to realise that the way we interacted with one another and with nature affected not only our own lives, but others around us and those yet to come. This creates an opportunity, to create the kind of future that we dream about.
Through observation of the present and learning from the past, yume strives to find innovative ways of connecting and reconnecting with ourselves and one another through the natural environment. We hope that by continually learning and sharing how to create and strengthen these relationships, we can be both inspired and inspiring as we work collaboratively towards realising that dream. We look forward to sharing that journey with you.
