Ripe raspberry, cherry pip, pomegranate juice, aniseed, grilled hazelnut, mint and seaweed. Medium-bodied, a smoky umami kombu thing happening here, tang of blood orange, and yet a juicy raspberry energy which is so compelling. Hazelnut skin tannin, nutty and flavoursome on a finish of excellent length.

Some sun-dried tomato here too, but gee, it’s a wine of specific character from a great vineyard. Saline. Savoury. Dry and ‘minerally’. Very good. 94 points. Gary Walsh, The Wine Front Feb 2024

Description

“Winemaking is an entirely natural process and no person has the right to assume the title winemaker. Nature is the winemaker and man—if he is skilled—gives nature the opportunity to perform to it’s best advantage. That is the art of winemaking.” Jack Mann

It’s our drink of choice and its legacy has been passed down to us, Robert and Genevieve Mann. We’re husband and wife, heads and hearts of Corymbia, and part of one of the oldest and most influential families in the winemaking industry.

We’re influenced by our line of winemakers, vignerons, designers, and drinkers, and we remember our roots; that we’re a family first.

CellarHand

CellarHand is a fine-wine importer and wholesale distributor, with a portfolio featuring some of the most sought-after estates of Germany, Austria, France and Italy, as well some of the greatest producers from Australia and New Zealand. Our ethos has always been to build a portfolio as you’d construct the perfect wine list. We work with small, family producers who express the best of their regions. The wines we sell are the wines we enjoy, and the people who make them are like family to us. They are wines that taste of where they come from, and though they’re steeped in history and stamped with the signature of their terroir, they’re more than ever relevant – and desirable – to the Australian diner of today.
