About Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari
The Folonari estates, renowned for producing some of the finest Chianti in Tuscany, owe their excellence to a combination of experience and exceptional soil. With a winemaking tradition dating back to the late 1700s, their estate is situated in Greve in Chianti, at the heart of the Chianti Classico region. Spanning 385 hectares, the estate dedicates 90 hectares to specialized vineyard cultivation and 15 hectares to olive groves. The Sangiovese grape thrives in Nozzole, showcasing its elegance in the dry, fragrant, and rocky Mediterranean hills.
In addition to their Chianti, the Folonari family produces Prosecco at the foothills of the picturesque Dolomite Mountains. This delicate wine is crafted with an environmentally friendly approach, respecting the vines that shape the unique landscape. The vineyards, located throughout the province of Treviso, contribute to a diverse and complex harvest, enhancing the wine’s intricate flavor profile.
