About Domaine de la Biscarelle

The Domaine de la Biscarelle is located in the Grès district of ORANGE, halfway between the city of Princes and the famous village of Châteauneuf du Pape.

It extends over 22 hectares of vines and 2 different appellations: Côtes du Rhône: 17 hectares of vines that are between forty and eighty years old.

And of course Châteauneuf du Pape: 5 hectares (with some hundred-year-old plots) located in the north of the appellation, vines mainly on hillsides, where the vines are covered with their famous round pebbles that the mistral does not forget to sweep all over the ‘year.

We always have as a guideline that we cannot make quality wines without quality grapes and without quality land. This is why if you come to visit us contact us before, because we work our land as a family and are there most of our time.

L’Atelier Wines

L’Atelier by Aramis Vineyards was founded in 2012, dedicated to supplying a hand-selected range of quality wines to the independent on and off trade. From small beginnings we now operate across NSW, QLD, VIC and WA as well as in our home state of South Australia. Our distribution company was founded on our absolute belief that there was nobody better to represent our McLaren Vale brand than our own team. From that point our mission was clear - to bring together a collection of wine that would complement and match the quality of our own, and to present these to premium retail and hospitality trade across Australia. We believe in working collaboratively with carefully selected producers from Australia and beyond, each sharing the same passion and commitment to quality. Inspired by the Ateliers of 19th century Paris, we see ourselves as a meeting place for highly talented craftspeople at the top of their trade. Our portfolio consists of premium boutique wines from across Australia, New Zealand, Italy and Spain, all carefully selected to represent the very essence of their region, but most importantly at approachable price-points. We do not aim to build a trophy cabinet, we believe that you do not have to spend a fortune to drink like a king, and our selection reflects our ability to seek out wines that consistently over-deliver and represent the very best value.
