The 2021 Nebbiolo is the first wine made since the block was replanted in 2017. This wine has the typical rose and smoked meat aromas, the finely- fruited palate driven home by a tannin grip. It needs time in the glass or decanting to reveal itself and will benefit from cellaring.

The north-west aspect and clay loam soils of the K block are perfect for this variety. Warm days ripening the grapes and producing the full tar flavours and a firm tannin structure. Always the last variety into the winery, as it is late ripening, but we are always so excited to see it arrive!

This wine sells out quickly from our cellar door and restaurant as it’s the perfect wine for your slow cooked meats and our favourite home cooked dishes that we enjoy in Autumn
