Varietal: Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon

A deep purple red with a bright rim. Lively, crunchy fruit on the nose, with a hint of green pepper. The nose becomes increasingly intense as it evolves into sweet dark fruits such as prunes and figs, delicately interlaced with spicy notes of nutmeg and vanilla.

A captivating feast for the senses and a wonderfully structured wine designed to give maximum pleasure! On the palate it is extremely full, yet soft, generous with velvety tannins and perfect balance.

About Tuscany

Tuscanyis a Denominazione di origine controllata (DOC, or controlled designation of origin) wine region in western Italy. The rolling hills of Tuscany, topped with medieval villas, vineyards and olive groves, are instantly recognisable to wine-lovers across the world. It is a region renowned for the quality of its wines and many of the most famous wine estates. Names such as Chianti, Brunello di Montalcino and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano spark the imagination and the stellar stable of Super Tuscan IGT (Indicazione geografica tipica) wines from the region have become household names.

Sangiovese is the king of red grapes here, but many other indigenous and international grape varieties are grown amongst the hills, creating a rich tapestry of characterful wines that sing of their Italian origins.

Climate: Warm and temperate on the coast, with higher diurnal ranges inland
Soil: Multitude of subsoils, ranging from tufa and volcanic soil to sandstone and limestone clay.
Key Varietals: Sangiovese, Cabernet and Merlot
