Is Primativo is Italian for Zinfandel…. or is Zinfandel American for Primativo? Who knows. What we do know is that this variety can form a beneficial relationship with Shiraz.
If Primativo is short on colour, Shiraz can help. If Shiraz is short on aromatic power, Primativo can help.
The blend is 50:50 with 100% french oak maturation, resulting in a richly coloured aromatic wine featuring luxurious tannins, cherry ripe, vanilla pods and spice.
