About Charles Heidsieck
In 1851, Charles-Camille Heidsieck founded a Champagne House to produce exemplary wines that reflected his personality and pioneering spirit. Focused on authenticity, refinement and dedication, Champagne Charles Heidsieck is, more than 150 years later, one of the most respected and desirable premium boutique Houses in France.
Charles Heidsieck champagnes showcase a remarkably high proportion of reserve wines (up to 40%), a narrow selection of crus (5 to 60) as well as a prolonged ageing in its chalk cellars underground (5 to 20 years).
Following the footsteps of his predecessors, Cyril Brun is today the “Chef de Caves” in charge of perpetuating the legacy of the House.Over the past two decades, its Chefs de Caves have been awarded “Sparkling Winemaker of the Year” no fewer than 13 times by International Wine Challenge. Including in 2019 with our Chef de Caves Cyril Brun awarded this prestigious honour.
Charles Heidsieck has received 19 Gold Medals and is ranked the 4th most admired Champagne House of the world by Drinks International 2019.
