About Terres Fideles
Born in the wilds of Roussillon. The Soleilla vineyard is perched high in the dramatic hills & terraces above the Vallée d’Agly with a unique character of its own. The famed black schist is interspersed with pockets of limestone from the higher slopes, combining the richness & power that is typical of Maury with a fresher, more finely defined character.
Crafted by Fergal Tynan MW, Fidèle is a blend of 80% old vine Grenache from the very low yielding hillside Soleilla vineyard & 20% century old Carignan from the summit of the plateau. As Fegal states, “it is these people & places that inspire our winemaking. It is our duty to create wines that allows the fruit to express the spirit of the place – ‘L’esprit de lieu’. “
